JORGE LUIS CHAMORRO / CARLOS LETTS

SP SUPER PERU (2002) 4MIN 41S

Sort of a postmodern national anthem that tries to demystify what we erroneously assume as national identity. In this way, Peru is not what the communication media have been broadcasting. The work portraits a mega diverse, multicultural and multiethnic country, ending with a subversive dose (the burnt of the national flag).
